This oil pump sprocket replaces the weaker OEM VAG two-piece sprocket (06F105243C) found on the EA113 2.0 TFSI engines.
This sprocket is used for oil pumps with the balance shaft delete or can be used to deactivate them by removing the main cog inside the oil pump and will prevent failure of the oil pump cog in future.
The sprocket can help the engine to rev quicker and slightly increase BHP.
