VW RCD 310 CD MP3 Player

You are looking at a Genuine Original Volkswagen

RCD-310 Radio/CD/MP3 player 

VW part no: 1K0 035 186 AA

This is factory fitted to the new Golf 6/ EOS/ Passat/ Touran etc.

It will fit straight into:

Golf MK5/MK6 Hatch/EOS/Touran/New Passat Saloon/New Jetta/New Caddy and basically any model that has the fittings for a RCD300 or 500 or MFD2

It will not fit in the Polo/Fox/Golf MK4/Sharan/Lupo/T5

It has the next generation of amplifiers giving a far superior sound quality to the previous generation (RCD200/300/500). It has to be heard to be believed (no need to change speakers).

It is MP3 compatible  so you can fit 10-12 Albums (about 200 tracks!) on each CD and it will play them and show all the track/artist/album details.

 It is Ipod compatible so you could connect an Ipod using an optional ipod adaptor. You can also connect the new VW MDI adaptor which has full Ipod/USB menu and text etc.

It is also VW BlueTooth Ready so you can connect the optional BlueTooth kit. 

This unit is a direct replacement for the RCD300/500 - so if for example you have a RCD300 fitted with an armrest Ipod adaptor, this will just replace the headunit and the Ipod adaptor will still work. If you have a highline computer, all the track details (from CD, not Ipod) will show on the dash as well as on the radio display!

That makes it a perfect upgrade for the Golf 5/GTi/R32

It is fully compatible with the multi function steering wheel.

Please note that on older models, there may be a battery drain issue - as older cars have the old CANBUS version.
