W H GRINDLEY & CO LTD BEAUTIFUL NEARLY COMPLETE COFFEE SET UNDER THE TRADE MARK WHITE SATIN MUST SEE

I say nearly a complete set as I would imagine this would have

been a set of six demitasse cups & saucers, and this has four.

Also comprises the coffee pot & lid, the sugar bowl and the milk/creamer

jug. It is a delightful set and very easy on the eye. As can be seen

a delicate blue & white with star or floral pattern and silver trim

The set is in good condition/as photographed. The milk jug/creamer

measures height 9.5cm, and the diameter (widest) is approximately

7cm, the demitasse set is height of cup 6cm, the length including

handle is 8cm and the diameter at the rim is 6.5cm, the saucer

is 12cm. The sugar bowl measures diameter 9cm and the height is

5cm. The coffee pot is height 20cm, the diameter (widest) is

approximately 12cm and the length is 17cm

Satin White is a W H Grindley trade mark. There are many

different patterns under this. My guess is this is probably coming

out of the 70's and I think the factory closed down during this

period as well. I do stand corrected though
