 W Wood &Co, Burslem Staffordshire Ivory Floral Biscuit Barrel.

 

Beautiful painted and  gilded Biscuit Barrel from England with silver plated lid, rim and handle (E.P.N.S.).
 It is decorated with daises and gilded highlights.
 
Marks & Maker: W. Wood & Co. Burslem 
 
The RN number on the bottom suggests that this biscuit barrel was designed in 1895 year.
 
Measurements: approx. 18 cm height (excl.handle), diameter 16cm.
 
Good condition with no chips or cracks.  Surface slightly crazing. The trim, handle and lid have lost most of the silver plating and have a brassy appearance.
