WADE Circus Whimsie - Poodle

A Wade whimsie of a Poodle standing on a circus box from the Circus set.  This set was issued in the late 1970s, and a few more figures were added to it in the 1990s. 

It is quite a fun set to collect and consists of 18 figures.   There are: 2 clowns, a ringmaster, human cannonball, strongman, tiger, poodle, lion, pony, elephant seated, elephant standing, brown bear, 2 sea-lions (one light grey and one dark green-grey) and 2 pairs of boy and girl chimpanzees (one pair dark brown, and one pair beige and blue).  Each figure is depicted on a circus box, and they are made of porcelain.

This piece is in excellent condition and stands 4.5cm high.
