Original Intended Use: The original purpose of this vintage Wade England ceramic piece is a miniature candle holder, designed to hold a birthday candle or slim taper candle. Over the years, many collectors have also repurposed the base as a match striker and holder, utilizing the rough underside or unglazed parts of the ceramic base to light matches.
