A Wade whimsie of a Badger in a greenish-grey colour.

It is in excellent condition and measures 4.5 x 2.5cm.  "Wade England" is embossed on one side.

Many people remember Wade whimsies because some were put into coffee tins by way of promotion in the 1970s.  Wade actually made hundreds of different little characters, and collecting these can be a lot of fun.  There are a number of sets - for instance of animals, or nursery rhymes, and the prices depend on the scarcity of the items.

I would be happy to provide copies of the relevant catalogue information to buyers who have placed an order, if required, or to source a catalogue for you.

On the other hand, you don't have to collect them seriously to enjoy these fine little porcelain figures.  They are excellent for a small display or printers tray!
