Captain Frederic John Walker was a British Royal Navy officer noted for his exploits during the Second World War. Walker was the most successful anti-submarine warfare commander during the Battle of the Atlantic, and was known popularly as Johnnie Walker (for the Johnnie Walker brand of whisky).
Terence Robertson was an officer in the Royal Navy during the Second World War and worked as the news editor of the Sunday newspaper Reynolds News from 1949 until 1959, after which he moved to Canada to join the editorial staff of The Hamilton Spectator.
Condition: Good, all pages and binding intact, no loose pages. Previous owners inscription on front papers, some light tanning and foxing. Internally the pages are very good, The cover boards are stiff and in good condition, spine has faded. No Dust jacket.
