Type - Collective Pitch (CCPM - Cyclic Collective Pitch Mixer)

Collective is the vertical control of a helicopter. Pitch is the angle of the blades. With collective pitch the angle of the main rotor blades is increased or decreased causing the helicopter to move up or down. This allows for very fast reaction from the helicopter. With negative pitch the helicopter is "pushed" down allowing for inverted flight. Rotating the helicopter is accomplished with the tail rotor (driven by a motor).
