Wherever they went they demonstrated to friend and foe alike, both on the ground and in the air, that they were men to be reckoned with.
This collection of stories tells of the exploits of great men who dared all with courage and enthusiasm. I salute them and I congratulate Peter Bagshawe on his initiative in putting this book together. It surely needs a place in the library of every South African airman.
