DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A framed and glazed original water colour painting by South African artist M Dowson. The painting depicts a Cape Cottage with thatched roof in the woods. It is signed in the bottom right corner and not dated, but probably dates from the 1980s. It is small to medium in size and in horizontal format. It measures 33 x 40 cm in the frame and 24 x 32 cm without the frame. The picture is framed on a mount and has a thin outer gilt on wood frame. It is also protected by glass. In the image above you can see the item up for auction. See further images for more details.
CONDITION	Both the the artwork and the frame are in very good condition with no paint loss and colours very bright. The painting is ready to be hung straight away
