Nick Stobart

Nick Stobart was born in Zimbabwe and finished all his schooling there. He trained as a teacher, and then taught for many years before becoming a headmaster. He left teaching to go farming and remained farming until his farm was taken by the Zimbabwean Government in 2002.

Nick and his wife Laura then moved to the South Coast of South Africa where they both taught at Creston College.

Nick has always painted, but turned professional after a series of painting lessons and strong encouragement from the world’s 3rd most highly rated wildlife artist Craig Bone.

Nick’s main love is watercolours, but he does do paintings in oils and acrylics. His paintings are widely sold in Australia and New Zealand.

Nick currently teaches watercolours, acrylics & oils, from his art shop in Port Shepstone, where he also sells art supplies.
