Could also be mounted in the plane as a "fuel gauge" indicating the Amphour used, and thus how much is left in the battery.
The best meter out there. Has more features than the very expensive ones and is easier to read. Everyone who is in electrics should have one. Great for testing total system drain.I should have bought this when I first got electric anything.
As it says,it measures it all. If you keep the battery connected, it will cycle through all the highest readings after running. this is particularly useful for when you want to record the stats. Plugged into all my planes and got a few surprises at what was actually pulling what. Cheap when you consider the cost of a new motor and or new ESC if you burn one out. Get one and do all your own stats and measuring.

Awesome Watt meter and power analyzer. Bought it to replace my WattsUp Meter. this Watt meter is rated to a Burst of 130Amps! Should be great for building and testing some large motors on 6S lipo packs where my amps would exceed the capablities of my WattsUp Meter. Another cool Turnigy product!
I am using the Watt Meter for setting up a new electric system as well as periodically testing the performance of my systems. I can choose props for best performance and predict flight times without ever leaving the ground. Was able to measure peak reading for V,amps and watts. Invaluable tool at a great price and easy to setup and use. Just add your own plugs!
