Jacket in Good Condition: Some age-toning around edges, a couple of small spots, light shelf-rubbing, very light creasing, very light rubbing to head of spine and foot of front hingeotherwise intact, clean and bright. Very light, faint, limited foxing and age-toning on the inside of jacket.
Book in Good Condition. Top corner of rear panel bumped, but not rubbed or frayed, otherwise the boards are clean, bright and crisp, intact. Scribble in pen in top corner of front paste-down. Very light, limited foxing on front free endpapers. A thin band of age-toning across front free endpapers, migrating onto the prelims, but fading progressively. Light foxing on rear endpapers (with genealogical tree of the House of York). Edges of text block foxed. Foxing in text block limited mostly to the very outer edges of the leaves, with a couple of instances of foxing in the margins, and a small brown stain in top corners of pp 190-196. These aside the text block is clean: No inscriptions, no highlighting or underlining, no annotations or marginalia. Binding is intact, secure; text is complete: no loose, missing, or torn pages.
