Hand Operated Spot Welder
This is an air cooled spot welder with built in transformer and built in synchronized timer/thyristor unit. The machine comes complete and needs only to be fitted with a 220volt plug to be ready to weld. This spot welder uses a hand clamping mechanism to hold and spot weld mild steel and stainless steel sheet together up to a combined thickness of 2mm on standard 125mm arm length.
Please note. * This machine does not have sufficient welding current to weld aluminum.
1/ The machine will be fitted with CuCrZr copper arms with have a throat depth of approx. 125mm. Special arm sets can be designed and manufactured to suit the client's operation.
2/ the weight of the unit with standard 125mm long arms are 10kg. The machine can develop from 40kg to 120kg tip force on standard arm length of 120mm.
3/ the timer and thyristor system for this machine comes built into the rear of the spot gun. In built thyristor unit, stubbing and protection circuits
4/ synchronized timing system. The timing functions include, cycle time in Hz 02 cycles to 65 cycles, phase heat or heat adjustment from 40% to 100% of output current.
5/ on standard setup the machine will delivery 6300amps of welding current at a 2,5ocv voltage on a 125mm throat depth at 2 welds per minute.
