Whirlpool's 6th Sense® technology uses sensors built in to the dishwasher to continually monitor and control the washing cycle to give you perfect results in the most efficient way possible. 6th Sense® adjusts water, temperature and time levels to generate up to 50% savings in energy, water and time. it never uses more energy, water or time than is absolutely necessary.

How Does 6th Sense Work?

It can measure the amount of crockery you have put in your dishwasher and how dirty it is. It will then use just the right amount of water at the optimal temperature to get the job done perfectly.

6th Sense also continually measures the dirty water leaving the dishwasher. Once the dishwasher notices that there is no more dirt leaving the machine, it will begin to end the cycle - saving you time, and more importantly, water - giving you a really eco-friendly dishwasher.

Powerclean Max

No More Scrubbing or Pre-Washing Even on Large Items

Whilrpool's unique patented PowerClean Max technology cleans burnt-on deposits without the need for pre-washing by hand. It can be found on selected models in both our integrated and free standing dishwasher ranges.

Selecting the PowerClean Max option activates 24 high pressure rotating jets located at the back of the dishwasher. The high pressure of the water cleans all food residues from even extra large pots, pans, and oven dishes, without the need for any additional water consumption.

With PowerClean Max, you need to load your pots, pans, and oven dishes into a revolutionary vertical position, rather than upside-down, in order to face the jets at the rear of the dishwasher. By doing this, you can save up to 30% in the lower rack of the dishwasher, leaving you more room to load more crockery.
