The Glenmorangie 18 years old has matured for a long time on old sherry casks.  These vessels remain in the warehouses in a mild climate surrounded by a sea breeze.  The result is an ideal after-dinner whiskey with a nice warm body and character.

Nose: some sweetness from the sherry, mint, (wal)nuts and wood show

Taste: sherry, honey, nuts and caramel and a spicy aroma, soft, with hints of vanilla and custard, oak and just a little bit of mint
