Antique Meerschaum Pipe with Original Fitted Case. Hand Carved.

An extraordinary antique Meerschaum pipe with highly detailed hand-carving in the form of a hand supporting the bowl. 

The mouthpiece appears to be amber. 

The pipe is complete and comes in it's original fitted case.  Note : two of the fingers have a well-executed repair (this does not effect the functionality of the pipe in any way).  Please view the images above to appreciate the superb craftsmanship of this piece.
