SPAWN SERIES 3 - SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION
Up for sale is an extremely rare and valuable collectors piece. Yes, this is a Special Limited edition CYGOR in WHITE. This was made at the time of Spawn Series 3. We had to get this overseas, as they were never for sale in this country. Made in 1996 (11+ years old) by McFarlane Toys. The more common CYGOR from Spawn series 3 had dark gray coloured fur and purple acessories and leg (his photo is on the back of the card)... This one was made as a limited edition collector's piece.... with WHITE painted fur and black accessories and leg... Made for the Collectors, and very rare!! Spawn has since become one of the most collectible figure lines worldwide and McFarlane Toys is currently into Spawn Series 31. Two series per year on average are produced, so to have a series 3 is most valuable and guaranteed to increase in value with time (ESPECIALLY THE SPECIAL + LIMITED EDITIONS). It is also worth noting that Limited and Special Editions are extremely sought after by collectors worldwide!! No retailers or websites in this country are selling Spawns before series 19 . A Series 21 box set, for example would cost at least R500+ a piece, so to own a series 3 is quite a prize!!!
MINT IN BOX-- The figure is MINT and has never been touched or removed from the packaging!! The condition of the packaging : the card is quite good -- is bent at the top above the figure. The plastic has some denting on the sides, but there is a perfect front display!! (See photo!). A small bit of plastic has detached from the bottom left of the card (hard to notice and still looks good)......... all in all, good condition for a 12 year old figure! . All pieces and accessories are firmly attached!!!! This is one of the earliest McFarlane Toys made in limited edition ! RARE AND VALUABLE !!
"SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION" is written on the box.... so collectors take note : This is a good one and very hard to find!!!
