The White Lisbon Spring Onion is an old favorite since 1787. It produces dependably in widely varying conditions. It thrives in a wide range of soils, is heat and cold tolerant, and can be sown successively throughout the season.

It is a hardy and reliable variety which features long white stems with bright green tops. It is quick and easy to grow, cropping in 60 days. They are perfect for container growing and can be tucked into mixed containers or beds.

They have a mild onion flavor with that characteristic ‘bite’. Delicious when young, they take on a more pungent flavor as the bulbs swell. Spring Onions are also called green onion, scallion or bunching onion.
