White Star Line first class individual teapot. Elkington silver plate with all marks. Titanic.

This is a very rare Elkington silver plate first class teapot from the White Star Line, with their flag engraved on each side. Base is marked for Elkington, date mark  D for 1889 .

I have been informed by a museum that this is a first class individual teapot and that the pattern was in use right up to the time of the Titanic. 

In remarkably good shape. See all the photos. A little bit of plate wear as to be expected. Elkington ship plate of this vintage is of the highest quality. 

11 cm high and about 18 cm wide handle to spout.
