On December 17th, 1903 the Wright Brothers accomplished the first manned powered flight which lasted a mere 12 seconds and covered 120 feet. Ever since that flight one of the most popular model airplanes to build has been the Wright Flyer model

This rubber band powered Wright Flyer model airplane has two propellers just like the original aircraft, a 20" wingspan and includes a powerful hand-held battery powered winder (4-AA batteries required - not included) and has excellent flying performance. On some flights the Wright Flyer model has even flown more than 100 yards!

Relive the excitement of these first flights with this incredible realistic flying model. Flights nearly as far as the original flight at Kitty Hawk over a century ago are possible, and building this model can be a great family activity.

For the best results the model should be launched into a slight breeze, or it can be flown indoors if there is adequate room. For best results outdoors fly in dry and calm weather.
