By Peter Apps Signed.

Southern Book Publishers, 1992 First Edition. Soft cover.

Condition: Fairly good condition as per photos. Has been read and there is a shelf fade mark. Previous owners name inside.

Great book for understanding the ways of the South African Wild!

The first section introduces the concept of ethology - the science of animal behavior - and traces its development and the technigues that have been developed to tackle the formidable problems of working on animals in the wild.

The 117 species accounts describe the behaviour of mammals from hedgehogs to hares, baboons to pangolins, dassies to aardvarks, lions to rates, whales to tsessebe and even fruit bats.
