William Kentridges il Processione di Riparazioniste forms part of his ongoing exploration of procession as a metaphor for history, memory, and collective action. The works depict a ceremonial march of figuresoften fragmented, hybrid, or symbolicmoving across the picture plane, referencing themes of repair, healing, and social reflection. Characteristic of Kentridges practice, the imagery combines drawing, collage, and printmaking to create a poetic narrative about restoration and the human effort to mend historical and cultural fractures.

William Kentridge is a South African artist known for his prints, drawings, and animated films. He was born in Johannesburg in 1955 and studied at the University of the Witwatersrand and the Johannesburg Art Foundation. Kentridge's work often explores the political and social issues of his native South Africa, as well as broader themes of time, memory, and history. He is considered one of the most important contemporary artists working today.
