Privately Printed for Sir William Russell Flint and his Executors, Published by The Medici Society, 1969. First edition Extensively illustrated inc. in colour. Original quarter red Moroccan leather with cloth sides in original blue slipcase. Limited edition of 850 numbered copies signed by Francis Russell Flint. Lettered in gilt on the spine. Housed in both its original publisher's slipcase and the original card posting box. Signed by the author's son, Francis Russell Flint, to the colophon. Marbled endpapers. Over one hundred main illustrations reproducing a wide range of Flint's work, many in colour and others in monochrome. There are also numerous smaller drawings and decorations by Flint. Posting box is complete and sound. The book traces Flint's life and career in his own words, in short interesting sections.
