Presenting a superb Willow Wood & Sons Blue and White lidded Tureen vintage, 1950’s
Willow pattern has been made in England since 1780. The pattern has been copied by factories in many countries, including Germany, Japan, and the United States. It is still being made. Willow was named for a pattern that pictures a bridge, birds, willow trees, and a Chinese landscape. Most pieces are blue and white.
A fabulous serving Dish for the table, the dish is in good used vintage condition, with vibrant colours and a very attractive willow pattern.
Unfortunately the lid has a chip on the edge. Not noticeable if used only for display. Otherwise, for use it would still make a very attractive serving dish.
*Width of the Tureen 26cms *Depth 7cms without the lid. *Weight 1016 grams with lid, 597 grams without lid
