Correctly installed according to the included instructions, the boosting the kit provides would typically increase the number of signal bars on the screen of a cellphone and the number of signal bars displayed by an Internet modem/router that accepts a SIM card. The kit is pre-owned and is in very good, almost new, used condition. It was originally bought through BoltonTechnical.co.za in August 2020 to supply cellphone signal to a remote location in rural South Africa. It is being sold as there wasn't sufficient signal to boost at that remote rural location (cellphone signal does need to be present in order for the kit to boost that signal). It has been used successfully recently during a check (at a suburban location) to see if it is still in working condition (and it is in working condition). The surge protector has not been used or checked for functionality/effectiveness by the current owner. The kit is being sold without a warranty and without a guarantee that it will solve a potential buyer's cellphone signal challenges.
