* What is the catch ?
There is 10,000 tickets that needs to be sold before the winner will be drawn.
We chose Bid or Buy as the medium on which all the transactions will be concluded as they are a trustworthy local brand.
The draw will be done by Azar Bookkeepers in Bloemfontein, as they are a non-involved 3rd party, and are also our accountants, thus any financial information and abiding by the laws of South Africa will be handled by them.
* What if all the tickets are not sold ? How long will this competition last ?
If all the tickets are not sold within 2 years of the starting date, the competition would come to an end, and the money that was gathered by the sales, will then be up for the draw. If we decide that the amount of tickets sold was enough for the shop itself, then we will still have a draw awarding the shop to the lucky winner. We still have the final choice, but a draw will take place, nonetheless.
General Questions :
Is the Building included ?
No, it is rented, and the rent is R 9,000 per month. The first 6 months rent will be paid in advance to the Lessor.
Can the Money that is the starting capital, be drawn and used for other things ?
Yes, it is entirely up to you what you do with the monies, stock and equipment, the building is that of the Lessor, and seeing as the rent is paid for the first 6 months, you are also welcome to do what ever you like in the premises (within the lessor's permission).
Will I use your banking account ?
No, all monies will be transferred to your account via EFT (paper trail).
Who pays for the vehicle to be put on my name, and the transfer of the company name ?
The winner will carry the costs of transferring all legal names as well as the vehicle license.
How many times may I enter ? Or is only 1 time allowed ?
As many as you wish. If you want 1 entry, then you have a 1 in 10,000 chance, the more you enter, the better your chances.
Who may not enter ? And if they do, what then ?
The direct and far-off family of the seller, and their parents (1 generation far), and their kids. If any of the entries are found to be of a family member, they will be voided, and the sale will reverse the monies to them, and they will be blocked on Bid or Buy system from purchasing anything from the seller, until the competition is closed.
What if I enter and cannot pay the amount I purchased for ?
We give you 7 days to pay, after which a SNC will be filed against you. Failure to pay and to respond on our emails will get you blocked for 6 months, there-after if the competition is still running, you can enter again. If you again fail to pay for what you purchased, a permanent block will be imposed on your buyer's ID.
What is my ticket number ? Will I get a physical ticket to prove that I entered ?
Your ticket number is the order number of the sale, the process is explained in the following question. Each entry will be double checked by a non-involved 3rd party to make extra sure everyone gets their fair chance.
How will the draw take place ?
All sales via Bid or Buy will get a order number, each order number will be added to a normal excel spreadsheet, each transaction on a separate line. A randomizer program will be used to randomly choose a number between 1 and 10,000, and whoever's details are listed on that line, will be the winner. He/She will then have 30-days to respond via the contact info given, if the time lapses, another draw will take place using the same method.
Why not just buy Lotto ? The prize money is bigger! ?
True, but here is 1 in 10,000 chance, there is only 10,000 tickets. If you buy 2 tickets, you theoretically have a 1 in 5,000 chance to win. With lotto you have a 1 in 40,000,000 chance. Huge difference!
The e-commerce portal - www.unisales.co.za, is that also included in this ?
The content of the portal will be exported to a name of your choosing, but the domain name cannot be transferred seeing as it is interconnected via a bunch of payment channels to the current company's bank accounts.
What electronic addresses and numbers do I get ?
The domain www.1stwave.co.za and all email addresses assosiated with it, the current landline number that has been the same since 2012 and the current Fax2Email number as well as the main Cellphone number, which has been the same the last 19 years.
