This version of Windows works only on fresh installs (newly installed Windows). If you purchase this version, you will need to re-install your Windows since upgrading is not possible.
This product is valid for activating both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Microsoft ended mainstream support for Windows 7 on 13 January 2015, but extended support won't end until 14 January 2020. This applies as long as you have Service Pack 1 installed.
Installation:
- Download the installation package
- Create an image following these instructions
- Install your new Operating System
- If needed, you can download additional language packs and install it on your PC.
In case of a problem with activating the product online, please use the automated phone system to activate or phone your local Microsoft activation center. We suggest phoning the activation center as your first option to activate to circumvent activation errors that are synonymous with the online activation process.
