The camera can operate safely at a distance up to 30m with obstructions in between. 50 to 100m in an open area where there are no obstacles or interference with the frequency. The camera have audio capabilities that makes this package so perfect. What's more is that installation is so easy, anyone can let this wireless camera work in a few easy steps with the diagram provided. If you want to install the camera in a place where there is no electricity you can make use of the 9Volt battery adapter cable (provided).

The camera is not waterproof but water resistant, however it will be better to always install the camera in a weather resistant area, like under a roof.
