Hardcover second edition, published August 1950 by Albatross Publishing Co, Ltd, Durban. The card jacket is whole but edge-worn, with several small chips to the folds and head and foot of the spine. The spine is sunned, with a mark left by a long-removed label at the foot. The khaki cloth boards are clean and square. Internally, a book dealer label is pasted to the inside front board, and there is a large pen gift inscription on the opposite page. Apart from some minor creases to some of the pages, they are clean and unmarked.
