London, Harmsworth Brothers, 1900/1; 1902. Hardback., no dust jacket issued.  Four volume set consisting of With the Flag to Pretoria Vol I and II and After Pretoria the Guerilla War Vol I and II. 

Describing the Boer War from the British perspective, the 4 volumes are beautifully illustrated with photographs, sketches  and maps.  Written by Herbert Wrigley Wilson - a British journalist and historian - wrote this detailed account of the Boer War, which includes descriptions of every battle. 

Fair condition.  Mild tanning to pages general wear and tear. Hinges cracked, endpapers tanned. Bumping to ends and corners.With the Flag to Pretoria;  Vol. 1-viii, 364pp . Vol. 2 - viii, pp 365 - pp 716 including index. Slight tearing from spine. 

After the Guerrilla War; 1902 Vol 1 528 pp; Vol II 529 - 1008 pp. Some pages are loose in the front of After Pretoria, the Guerrilla war Vol 1 but all are present. Slight tearing from spine.

Covers are worn green boards with gilt and black decoration on front & spine.
