An impressive, valuable historical book with hundreds of Encyclopaedic entries of prominent women, complete with photographs.Titled Women’s work in South Africa, the end section contains ‘short descriptive articles dealing with a few of the many women’s organisations in the sub-continent'.

  

Book condition: Fairly good. Leather boards with gilt inlay and marbled endpapers. Some wear, scuffing and minor tears. Slight browning to pages. Water damage to last pages as illustrated. 31 x 25 cm.
