First Edition. Trade paperback, 258pp. Illustrated with numerous maps and three sets of colour photographic plates.

Cover clean and bright. Light foxing on insides of cover. Corners not quite as new but still sharp. Edges of text block foxed. Dedication in pen on half-title. Prelims foxed, limited to upper margin and edges. Intermittent foxing throughout the text block, mostly limited to the very edges of the leaves, but occasionally migrating into the margins, and very rarely also onto the printed areas. Photographic plates however are clean and bright--no foxing here. Besides foxing no other stains or marks. No underlining or highlighting, no annotations or marginalia. Complete text; binding is secure; spine only lightly creased; no loose, missing, or torn pages.
