A beautiful box with two compartments. I would guess it is Indian and the flower depicted is a lotus flower.

Hand carved ornaments.

Unfortunately both hinges had snapped - they were made of thin brass - and they have been removed. There is a small crack at the side corner - see picture.

Size: 20.5cm x 12.5cm x 5.5cm

HINGES WERE REMOVED BUT THE SCREWS WERE KEPT.
