Wooden Box with Anglo Boer War-era Coins from Z.A.R. & Ceylon

The wooden box is made of a darkish wood with copper insets.

The coins are the following:- 

Ceylon: Copper Half Stuiver and 2-Stuiver coins both dated 1815. Silver 10-Cents coins dated 1894 & 1899, silver 25-Cents dated 1895 and silver 50-Cents dated 1893.

Z.A.R. Penny of 1898, Tickey of 1896 and Sixpence of 1897.

An accompanying note reads as follows "Oom Johannes vd Merwe van tannie Nita se oupa se geldjies van Ceylon wat hy terug gebring het na die Oorlog in 1902".
