Released in 2012, nearly 15 years after the classic Distillers Select, the Woodford Double Oaked, as its name suggests, is a version that has undergone a second passage in new casks. The secret to this intense and complex Bourbon lies in this finishing, slightly exceeding one year, in a cask first extensively toasted and then lightly charred, providing it with aromatic depth while softening its character.

Unique double-barreled aging process. It's aged first in new, charred oak barrels, then finished in a second barrel that's been heavily toasted and lightly charred. This process imparts extra notes of oak, vanilla, and spice, creating a smooth and indulgent experience.

Labrot & Graham officially stopped producing whiskey under Its name in 1941 when they sold the distillery to Brown-Forman. While Brown-Forman did produce whiskey at the facility, it wasn't until 1996 that they launched the Woodford Reserve brand. The distillery's name was officially changed from Labrot & Graham to Woodford Reserve Distillery in 2003
