- Single edged blade, mark stamped ‘ENDURE JOSH BEAL & SONS CAST STEEL SHEFFIELD’
- Broad, flat bodied scabbard in tan leather with riveted and sewn edges, mouthpiece reinforced with stiff hide and hilt retention strap fitted on the belt loop
- Mark stamped back ‘B.H.G.1943’ (British Home Guard, 1943)
- Obvious Broad Arrow (British Government acceptance mark)
