This auto sensor waste bin use a mini movement sensor, which senses movement from an infra red sensor positioned in front of the waste bin lid, to detect when to open the lid, when movement is detected approximately 15cm away from the top of the auto sensor waste bin, the lid will automatically open, the waste bin lid will close automatically once you move away from it.
