PRINT WITH FRAME MEASURING 81CM X 55CM,PRINT ITSELF BEING 77CM X 51CM. FRAME HAS A FEW "NICKS" BUT NOTHING MAJOR AND CAN BE HUNG "AS IS" PRINT ITSELF IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.  ORIGINAL PAINTING BY D. COULSON.  THERE IS A SHORT EXPLANATORY NOTE ON THE BACK OF THE PRINT WHICH I SUMMARISE : IN 1927 THE "KING CLASS" ENGINES WERE BUILT BECAUSE THE "CASTLES" WERE NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR THE RISING LOADS.  THE FIRST OF THE KING CLASS WAS NO. 6000 "KING GEORGE V" WHICH WAS BUILT AND SENT TO AMERICA FOR THE "FAIR OF THE IRON HORSE"   THE 30FT GIANT, KING RICHARD 1 (DEPICTED HERE ) WAS BUILT IN 1930 AND WAS ONE OF THIRTY "KINGS" BUILT OVER A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS.   HERE IT IS SEEN PULLING THE CORNISH RIVIERA EXPRESS.   VERY LARGE SO POSTAGE WILL BE R100.    REFER IMAGES
