a collectors item and a must for any one who collects or appreciates traditional south african landscapes. this painting was painted by keith john fAure’ who was Born in 1944 in Cape Town. keith John fAure is a well known landscape artist, who is mentioned in esme berman's book of south african artists. keith john fAure studied art from the age of thirteen under his father John lawrence fAure’, a student of gabriel de jong, and has painted professionally for the past FORTY THREE years. his work became hard to come across when he went into retirement. The painting is unframed on canvas, is 610 mm x 505mm in size and in excellent condition. This particular paintings colours are striking, capturing the mood and scene perfectly for a traditional landscape.
