WOW!! Large antique Barclay Table Lighter (made in England)!

Vintage chrome metal table lighter, with plastic or possibly bakelite base and buttons. Lovely condition, does not look like it has been used very much. Item not tested but when button is depressed it does produce a spark. On the base it states 'Barclay Made in England . Pat N0 14813/48 World patents pending. I am guessing this is 40s/50s.
