DESCRIPTION:
Petrus Regout established the De Sphinx pottery factory in Maastricht, Holland in 1836.
The firm was noted for its transfer-printed earthenware.
This plate is the CEDRA Pattern- an oriental willow design in hues of russet & smokey grey/blue
MARKS:
A profile of a Sphinx, Petrus Regout & Co., Maastricht, Cedra, Made in Holland and the number 33 (I think because it is rubbed.

It measures 26cm across
EXCELLENT CONDITION. No cracks, chips or crazing. Very light surface scratches & the odd tiny scuff to the paint.
