THIS REALLY BEAUTIFUL COALPORT OF ENGLAND MINIATURE WALL PLATE MEASURES 7.5 cm AND STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL WALL HANGER ON THE BACK OF THE PLATE. I DOUBT THAT IT WAS EVER HUNG ON A WALL. THE PLATE DEPICTS AN OLD SEA CAPTAIN SHOWING A COUPLE OF CHILDREN THE BOATS IN THE HARBOUR. THE RIM OF THE PLATE HAS BEEN FINISHED IN GOLD GILDING. COALPORT CERAMICS WAS FOUNDED IN 1750. THE PLATE IS ALSO STAMPED "BONE CHINE" "COALPORT" "MADE IN ENGLAND" AND "EST 1750"
