Rhodesian comedian and news presenter born in Salisbury, Rhodesia on 24 June 1934. Died in East London, South Africa on 6 June 2006.
Also represented Zimbabwe in archery in the Olympic Games in 1988 and was also a national champion in Bisley shooting.
As a comedian he recorded LP records in Chilapalapa ( such as Zonke Chilapalapa, Futi Chilapalapa and Cream of Chilapalapa).
In case you are wondering what Chilapalapa is - it is a pidgin language spoken in Rhodesia, later Zimbabwe, normally between masters and their servants and basically a mixture of Shona, English, Afrikaans and Chichewa.
