Hardcover with DJ and slipcase. This book tells the story of a century of powered flight that started when the Wright Brothers first took to the air on 17 December 1903. It is one of a number of titles published by the RAF Benevolent Fund (now the RAF Charitable Trust Enterprises) whose sterling work raises millions of pounds each year for service charities. 100 paintings by a selection of artists illustrate subjects ranging from the earliest wood and canvas aircraft to the most recent stealth bombers. Presentation is excellent, in summary this is a good combination of useful reference and some fine examples of aviation art, many of which most readers will not have seen before.
Published in 2002 with 216 pages. The book is in very good condition and in its original slipcase. ISBN - 1899808760. Postage within RSA = R40
