Built on the popular WS2812 LED driver chipset, this ring provides 18mA constant current per LED, ensuring consistent color output even if your input voltage fluctuates. The compact design requires no external resistors or drivers, making it ideal for compact enclosures and lightweight builds.

The NeoPixel Ring is chainable, allowing you to daisy-chain multiple rings together for larger displays or complex animations. With our Arduino NeoPixel library, you can easily program eye-catching lighting patterns using an AVR-based microcontroller such as an Arduino Uno, Mega, or Leonardo.

Note: Due to the high timing sensitivity of the WS2812 protocol, this ring requires a real-time microcontroller. It is not compatible with Linux-based boards (like Raspberry Pi) or interpreted platforms (such as Netduino or Basic Stamp).
