The Bible has Covers in Olive Wood with a Cross Printed on the Front and "Best Wishes from South Africa Gifts & Comforts Merry Xmas 1943".This appears to be a later issue bible as the 1943 version has the Cross ENGRAVED into the wood.
The title page has a Message from the King Dated 1939 & The opposite page has a Bi-lingual Message from Ouma Smuts.
The Linen spine is intact , but is there is some splitting of the spine away from the book.There is quite alot of foxing throughout the edges of the pages, with +/- 180 to +/- 310 showing foxing on the pages.
