WW1 1916 British Vernier Pattern Compass Mk VII Short & Mason Ltd Air Ministry Marked (AM) + Original Leather Pouch

An exceptional and rare First World War-era British military compass, Mark VII Vernier Pattern, manufactured by Short & Mason Ltd, London. Dated 1916, serial number 42644, and clearly stamped with the Broad Arrow and AM (Air Ministry) markings indicating Royal Flying Corps (RFC) or early RAF issue.

The compass features a precision vernier scale and remains in full working order. Housed in its original military-issue leather pouch, marked Leatheries Ltd and also Broad Arrow stamped.

A fine piece of WW1 history, ideal for militaria collectors, horology enthusiasts, or museum-grade displays.
