WW1 K.I.A. Medal Pair to 'A/SJT. J. MACINNES' (A.S.C./Black Watch)
This original, British, Great War casualty pair of full-size medals were awarded to 'Private A-SJT. J. MACINNES', who was attached to '1st/6th Battalion' of the 'Black Watch', whilst serving with the 'Royal Army Service Corps'. He was killed in action on the 28th of August 1918 during the 'Battle of Amiens', later known as the 'Hundred Days Offensive' and buried at the 'Point-Du-Jour Military Cemetery' in the village of Athies, in France. The medals are in great condition, nicely tarnished with their original ribbons and are impressed on the rims 'S 29378, ASJT. J. MACINNES. A.S.C.' and come with a few records/documents that I came across.
